Each FORGED X canopy is made for a specific tub, so the right one depends on your ute's model, series and box length. Use Find my fit at the top of the site, or browse the range by make and model. If you are not sure which series you have, send us your build date or VIN and we will confirm the fit before you order.

Only if both utes share the same tub. A Ford Ranger PX canopy will not fit the Next-Gen Ranger, and an N80 HiLux canopy will not fit the N90. Some utes do share a tub: the MQ and MR Triton take the same canopy, as do the NP300 and the facelifted D23 Navara. Each product page lists exactly which vehicles it fits.

Aluminium is lighter and does not rust. A lighter canopy leaves more of your ute's payload for gear, and aluminium holds up on the coast, where salt air gets into every seam. Steel is heavier for the same size and needs its coating intact to resist rust.

Solid sides suit trade, fleet and work utes: there is nothing on the sides to break and nothing on show. Sliding dog windows suit touring: kerbside access without walking around the ute, cross-flow ventilation when camped, and airflow for a dog travelling in the back. Both options have a glazed lift-up rear door with gas struts.

A FORGED X dual cab canopy weighs from around 60 kg, depending on the vehicle and the side option. That leaves more of your ute's payload for racks, drawers, water and gear.

Not necessarily. Everything you add counts towards your ute's GVM: the canopy, racks, drawers, water, fuel, passengers and gear. Add up your full setup and compare it with your vehicle's payload. At around 60 kg, a FORGED X canopy keeps that number down, so many owners stay within their factory GVM.

The roof is rated to 150 kg dynamic, while driving, and 300 kg static, while parked. Include the weight of your bars or rack in the total.

Yes. The full-length roof tracks take rooftop tent mounts directly. Keep the tent and bars within the 150 kg dynamic rating when driving, and the tent, bedding and occupants within the 300 kg static rating when parked.

Yakima track-mount accessories have been tested as a direct fit, with no adaptor plates. The track profile also takes other common bolt-in rack and accessory systems, including awnings, recovery board mounts, solar panels and light bars. We stock Yakima bars, racks and accessories to suit.

Yes. Every opening is sealed and drained, built for corrugated roads, dust and rain.

Yes, with the optional plug-and-play central locking kit. It connects to your ute's existing wiring, so one press of the factory key locks the cab and the canopy together.

No drilling is needed. Every FORGED X canopy clamps to the factory tub rail with the supplied hardware, and it can be removed later with the tub left as it was.

Dual cab canopies start from $3,499 with solid sides and $3,999 with dog windows. Canopies for full-size pickups such as the Ram, Silverado, F-150 and Super Duty start from $4,499. Prices are in AUD and include GST.

Yes. We fit canopies at our Slacks Creek centre, 21 Moss Street, Slacks Creek QLD 4127. Contact us to book a fitting and we will confirm the details for your vehicle.

Yes. We ship to every state on pallet freight, to metro and regional commercial addresses. Orders placed before midday, Monday to Friday, are picked the same day. You can also pick up from our Slacks Creek warehouse.

Yes. Brackets, seals, struts, glass and mounting hardware are held in stock at Slacks Creek and can be sent the same day.

Returns are covered by our refund policy. Our goods also come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
